As being a native, born in Great Falls, I did not expect the political corruption to follow me from Helena and thought you and your staff, were very professional. But since my last visit, it is very clear that Benefis is also discriminating against and denying health care to alleged Smokers, or could it be MERKS VICTIMS of there block buster drug VIOXX.
I called up Benefis months ago, and received a referral to a doctor. I sent my medical records to him, and after not hearing back I contacted his office only to be told I was accepted in to the Montana medical pot program. LOL What I smoke is my businesses! And the state as well as others should be ashamed of there self’s, for trying to profit off a personal and private choice of others.
So I called back and explained my situation I was referred to Ms Fritz, witch I furnished her with medical records and a list of physical complains. (numb/pain from the pecks to skull-abdominal pain last 4 years/ with bleed out 10-090- kidney pain salt taste) Fritz saw me on 3/15/10. Where she scheduled me for a stress echo-gram and a MRI?
I had a previous appointment that was being demanded by the DPHHS at St Peters hospital in Helena, so I scheduled the MRI there, same day.
I was surprised when they took me in for the MRI and no contrast was given.
This was an inappropriate test for any suspected vascular disorder. I previously have had a MRI done for my old back injury by Dr Mulgrew. 2005
I also received a CT scan, (abdomen/pelvis) at your hospital on 11/16/07 for back and abdominal pain, at witch that time there was no contrast given but found, was a abdominal aortic aneurysm, perinephric fat stranding and vascular calcification of the left renal artery, endplate spurs in spine.
Just think what may had been discovered if contrast had been given?
Shortly after my echo gram I noted at the tech wasted no time on sprinting out of the room before Miss Fritz start in on her rant and then looked me in the eye and stated that if a blood clot had moved from my behind my knee to my lung as I suspected happened over 2 years ago, I would be dead. I felt sorry for the 2 other nurses that were in the room, as well as the one that was about in tears as she walked me out and stated, “ I was to young for that”! I also asked the tech about evidence of a ventricular wire left in the heart since surgery.
Previously Working construction, and maintaining large equipment and autos, I understand hydraulics. If you foul the oil you will have to eventually replace a pump, and then filter, blown hoses, plugged valves, check valves as well as slave cylinders. Very little difference from a vascular system in a human! In my case the records show VIOXX is the only thing that put me down X3. Try putting; lets say 2 tablets of Bextra in your riding mowers oil ever day for a month or 2, then call your doctor.
Back to the subject, after my tread mill test, I left and grabbed a whoper fry and a large coke, I returned as Fritz stated that I could come up and talk with her, while standing in the waiting room I noticed a couple of hoots that were waiting to see her also, so knowing she was busy and not wanting confutation, I went down to retrieve a copy of all my test result from book keeping. I signed a release and the pleasant lady told me they still were not available and that she would mail me copy’s of all. I requested a copy of the digital echogram as well as the EKG and oxygen recordings that was taken during stress and at rest.
In stead I received a vague summery, as posted below.
I regret having to post this but you, Benefis hospital has chosen to be involved in these discriminatory practices, who’s next? People that are Diabetic, obese, bald, or maybe beef eaters.
Over $300 million dollars the state has collected off of tobacco in the last 10 years.
They have yet to disclose there recent victory over Merck for vioxx injuries.

ONLY IN MONTANA or is it?
We are the only country where we allow Large corporations such as Merck & Company to market Deadly designer drugs, (Vioxx) killing over 90,000 plus people in the united states alone in less than 5 years, 100s of thousands injured, suffering from strokes, heart attacks, left homeless without shelter, Medical and SS denied, elderly going without needed meds, and mentally ill without treatment - yet we have a benefit for the people of Haiti on most TV stations, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents, clothes, bedding, doctors, medical supplies and our treasure. Imagine if we gave our victims and homeless the same support that we gave other countries. I feel bad for them but I guess nobody cares about Americans that have been injured and killed, by Merck and company, Wall Street, FDA and our politician’s greed.
Will any one from Merck ever see jail for murdering 100000s NO, Will the states that have received money from the law suits help our victims. NO. It will go in to the general fund or Wall Street. Why do the FDA and the states still allow the unregulated distribution of sample drugs from large pharmaceutical manufactures? Do you ever wonder who pays for the samples that we all have walked out of our doctor’s office with in the little brown paper bag? Large pharmaceutical company’s give them out so that the state will allow them to continue to sell and advertise there new designer drugs to the ill and desperate.
As Brain Schweitzer, governor of Montana has repeatedly said “its money in the bank” (TREASURE) And “We will continue to medicate, incarcerate and educate” our citizens of the treasure state. It’s our job!
People wake the F up; it’s not about the PIG FLU!
We need to kill this virus that has infected our local governments, politicians and the health care system.
